Dahod district is situated on the eastern side of Gujarat. In the north side of district, Rajasthan and in the east side of district Madhya Pradesh are situated. Dahod district was carved out from erstwhile Panchmahal district and it is tribal district.
Dahod I.T.I. caters to the needs of local tribal population. I.T.I. Dahod imparts training under Craftsman Training Scheme to local adivasi youths and helps them achieve employment / self employment . I.T.I. to produce skilled craftsmen for local / outside industries.
The institute imparts training to trainees 1224 in 17 trades under NCVT and 144 Trainees in 4 trades under GCVT patterns & 96 Trainees in COE Automobile sector under C.O.E. This will help the district in making progress.

(c) What teaching facilities and learning resources does your institution require?
  • Multimedia Projector.
  • Modern Audio Visual Room.
  • Modernization of the present Library.
  • Technical Books and Magazine.
  • Continuous Interaction with Industries.
(d) Could you improve the number of female students in your courses?  How would this be done?
  • Arrange Separate Girls wing in the Institute .
  • Arrange Campus  Campaigning at the Girls High Schools   of the City and District
  • Increasing the Sanction seat in the Popular Trade.
(e) Could you improve the number of students from disadvantaged backgrounds in your courses? How would this be done?
  • More Seats will be Sanctioned for disadvantaged students
  • Stipend will be paid to trainee of disadvantaged background students
  • Separate wing for the students from disadvantaged background .
(f) How could you improve your linkages with the local labour market?  Do you need to improve your linkages with labour markets outside your locality and if so how could you go about it?
  •  We will establish a Placement Advisory Bureau.
  • Details of pass out Trainees will be place on web site
  • Seminars and Bharti Melas  will be arranged with participation of local and near by Industries.
